Privacy policy

Mzansi Lotto Results (mzansilottoresults.com) does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, ID number or ticket details. You don’t need an account to see the results.

What stays on your phone

The numbers you save under Check my numbers and the games you follow are kept in your browser’s local storage. They don’t leave your phone unless you turn on alerts. You can remove them on the same page or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

If you turn on alerts

To send you notifications we keep the subscription your browser creates (a technical address of its notification service, without personal details), the games you follow and your saved numbers, so we know when to alert you. When you tap “Turn off alerts”, your subscription and its numbers are deleted.

Measuring the service

To know whether the service works, we record — without identifying you — when the app is installed, when it is opened and when alerts are turned on or off: the day, the country of the connection, the type of browser and a random code created by your browser so the same installation is not counted twice. The code is not linked to your name or contact details; if you clear the site’s data, a new one is created.

Cookies

We use no cookies of our own and no advertising trackers. Your preferences — your numbers, the games you follow and whether you have already seen the offer to install the app — stay in your browser’s storage.

How long we keep data

An alert subscription is deleted when you turn alerts off, or when the notification service tells us it no longer exists (for example, after you cleared your browser data). If you never turn it off, it is deleted automatically after 400 days. Records of installs, app opens and alert changes, with their random code, are deleted after 120 days.

Service providers

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes visits in order to serve the pages. Notifications are delivered by your browser’s push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft).

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information about you, and you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Because we keep nothing that identifies you, the direct way to delete your data is to turn off alerts and clear this site’s data in your browser.
